SERDANG - Nurul Syazwani Mohamed Zabidi, UPM Alumni Class of 2023 graduate of Bachelor of Business Administration was the first recipient of the Sultan Idris Shah Endowment Award during the 47th UPM Convocation Ceremony, the Second Conference, in the first session. Making it even sweeter, this award was presented by the Chancellor of UPM, His Majesty Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Alhaj.

The Sultan Idris Shah Endowment Award is a new University Award sponsored by the Sultan Idris Shah Endowment Fund (TESIS). The TESIS Fund and this award are the first to be introduced and managed by the UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM).

“I would like to thank the selection committee and the Alumni Relations Center for this award. With this award it is an added value for me to continue exploring the world of work out there. I am also confident that with an award like this, which recognizes students who are active in the extracurricular field, will give motivation to students to be active not only in the lecture hall but also outside the lecture hall,” said Syazwani.

Syazwani is also one of the students who was active in the Student Representative Council during her studies. However, despite being active in co-curricular activities and associations, the efficient division of time makes studies and extracurricular activities go hand in hand and today she has successfully proved that both things are very important in forming self-identity and self-confidence.

ARCUPM wishes Sister Nurul Syazwani the best of luck in whatever field she ventures into and will return to serve the alma mater in line with UPM's motto "With Knowldege We Serve".
