SERDANG, 1 April 2018 – Alumni Centre and Zoo Taiping remain committed in organizing the Showcase Jalinan Alumni UPM @ Zoo Taiping and Night Safari as one of the community programmes to establish alumni-community relationships around Taiping, Perak. There were various activities and competitions have been successfully organised such as Fitness Dance, Treasure Hunt and Coloring Contests.

In this program, tree-planting programme are also being implemented to preserve the environment. Alumni Centre Director, Prof. Dr. Hazandy Abdul Hamid said Alumni Centre’s initiative in holding this programme was in line with the country’s climatic requirements for the planting for more trees to reduce heat. This programme is a platform that could help instil the awareness for the environment among alumni UPM, students as well as the community,” he said. This Showcase had seen the involvement of more than 300 participants among alumni, student and community.
